2017 Was A Great Year

Happy New Year! SO many things happened in the last 12 months. I went back to tennis camp with my family, my brother got married, I climbed the Eiffel Tower, jet skied around St. Tropez, I became an uncle to the cutest twin nieces ever, I drove the coast of the Pacific North West (amazing), I taught a boudoir workshop in Miami, Florida, and I had my most successful business year ever.

This was such a special year for me. It was the year I decided not take any weddings and shift my business to 100% boudoir. Was it scary? Yes. Was it challenging? Yes. Was it rewarding? I almost get a tear as I type this. It's a beautiful thing to make a decision and follow that path because YOU want it, not because it has fallen into place. I certainly didn’t do this on my own. When I started writing this post I had planned for it to be a recap talking about all my amazing clients, which I had many. But as I type I realize how thankful I am to be able to do what I love and bring such an incredible experience to the women who hire me looking for a gift, some self-confidence or a reason to fall in love with themselves a little more. The full list of people who got me here is too long to write, but here are a few that stand out. My girlfriend Devon pushed me to believe in myself. Fellow photographers Danielle, Tyler, Sara and LeZandra were always there to refine my business and my parents continue to support me with every click of my camera.

My hope for myself in 2018 is to have boudoir take me to more parts of the world, to spend lots of time with my nieces and to give back more.

My wish for you in 2018 is to accept your own beauty in whatever way that might be. What makes us different is what makes us special, and I love you for that.
